Lance Matthew Patrick
On August 9, 2017, our Viking warrior, Lance Matthew Patrick (aka “Train” by his classmates), at the age of 34, began his trip to Valhalla to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ after an extended arduous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Lance’s life is an epitaph to the rest of humanity on how to remain joyful and loving through adversity. May we all follow his example when we face adversity. Lance graduated from Oxford High School. His last employer was Triad Isotopes where he worked as a transporter. He loved traveling all over the southeast meeting new people. Lance’s memory will be memorialized by his mother, Dana Corine McNeal of Mobile, AL; his father, Jerry Macon Patrick of Lucedale, MS; his sisters, Monica Leigh (Kevin) Bullock and Karena Danette (Joey) Broadhead, all of Lucedale, MS; his brother, Christopher Derek ( Brenda) Patrick of Mobile, A;. his niece, Victoria Danielle Broadhead; his nephews, Jesse McAlary, Luke Broadhead, and Ryan Bullock, all of Lucedale, MS; his loving aunt, Molly McVay of Citronelle, AL; uncle, Gerald McNeal of Tyler, AL; many cousins other relatives and friends that loved and admired Lance. Pallbearers will be Chris Patrick (brother), Jesse McAlary (nephew), Scott Jennings (cousin), Luke Broadhead (nephew), Joey Broadhead, (brother-in-law) and Ryan Bullock (nephew). Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Kevin D. Bullock, will be held Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
