Margaret McCarver McCaghren 1921 – 2017 A native of Gadsden, AL and resident of Mobile, AL died on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the age of 96. Mrs. McCaghren was active in her church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and recording secretary. She also took part in the Meals on Wheels program and went on two mission trips to Costa Rica. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph G. McCaghren and four siblings. She is survived by her children, Carol (Danny) Reynolds, Gerald (Janis) McCaghren and Stephen McCaghren; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM.     I learned so much from Margaret, not only by being a student of her teaching, but also by observing her life. She truly walked the talk. Her impact will last through her many contributions to the Lord's work. Thank you, Margaret for giving to the Lord in so many ways.

    Margaret was a dedicated Christian and her life revealed this! She was faithful to her church in taking part in many ways!! She will be remembered for her dedication to each endeavor in which she was involved!!
