Sad to hear of the passing of my friend Barney. He was a caring, devoted, and loving individual. Devoted to his family, friends and church. Loving and caring for others through his actions . Faithful Christian. He will be greatly missed.....

I am saddened by the loss of such a good man. Barney was a founding member of the Cottonbelt Parachute Council and as a child I watched with awe as he and others competed in many parachuting competitions across the South. He was always kind to me and I followed his parachuting for many years. The world is a lesser place with his passing.
