Jimmy Dan Godfrey
1945-2018

A native of Mobile, AL and resident of Theodore, AL died on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the age of 72. Mr. Godfrey was retired from AT&T after 40 years of service and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was active in his church at Meadowlake Baptist Church, was an avid deer hunter and avid Alabama football fan. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janice Byrd Godfrey; three daughters, Rachel (Brent) Eanes, Brenda (John) Stutz and Julie (Jim) Fleming; three brothers, Jerry (Briana) Godfrey, Edd Godfrey and Paul (Linda) Godfrey; eight grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, September 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilefuneralservice.com. Funeral arrangements are by Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
