Jim and Nancy,
I am so sorry I am unable to be with you today. When my brother died a number of years ago, the minster said"it is unfathomable for parents the bury a child" so it is for you. I fondly remember Scott at the antique car club.
My prayers and thoughts are with you today and always.

Mallory and family,
We first met your Dad and you at the Joplin rally this May. Your kindness was a big part of our first experience with rallying and it continued on into the Great Race. Your father was a class act and from what we saw one heck of a Dad. It was our great fortune to have been able to rally with him this summer. We were in your thoughts and prayers then. Now, our thoughts and prayers turn to you and your family. God be with you.

To the Henderson family:
Scott will live in my heart forever. I love him as if he were my own brother. It's difficult for me to refer to Scott in the past tense. He made and is still making a great mark on his life and the lives of everyone he has ever touched.
To Travis, Mallory and Raegan: Scott is the best father I have ever known. I've emulated quite a bit of my parenting skills based on observing him and his way. He is so proud as am I, of all three of you.
To the friends that Scott leaves behind: This is a wonderful and glorious man that we are all honored and grateful to know. The accolades are too many to mention. It is a privilege to call Scott my friend.
To Mr. and Mrs. Henderson: You bore and raised a wonderful son. Most importantly, you taught him to be a good person. His commitment to his family is extraordinary. And he loves you as only a son can. I want you both to know that Scott has an incredible influence on my life and I will forever miss my friend.
All my love and respect,
Mike Boothmobile, AL

Our prayers and thoughts to your families. Although we didn't know Scott personally we heard a lot about him through The Great Race especially this past year. What a great team who didn't hesitate even one second in a time of danger.
