Ashbel was a great friend of my husband Rab Turk, and quite a character. Once I met him he was my friend too. Condolences to his wife Barbara and his Family.

Uncle Ashbel was with me when I caught my first fish at age 6. He explained that it would bring me good luck if I hid it under my pillow. I needed more than luck when my mom found the origin of the foul odor 3 days later. He was
the best. Sadly missed.
