Dr. Rollie William “Buzz” Lyman, born June 6, 1933 in Sycamore, IL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the age of 85. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an avid model railroad enthusiast, loved golf and caring for his property. He was a friend to all animals. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and finished his military career as a captain in the United States Coast Guard. After retirement he entered into a private dental practice in Mobile, AL. Dr. Lyman was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Katheryn Lyman and his wife, Donna Lee Lyman. His survivors include his three sisters, Katheryn McLean, Patricia Lyman and Janice Law; three sons, Patrick Lyman, Michael (Darlene) Lyman and Benjamin Lyman; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; beloved canine companion, Banjo; many other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.

    Buzz. Is a cousin. We last saw him January 2018 and so enjoyed spending time with him. He loved showing me his little farmette and improvements he's made. Wish we could have gotten together more often. We'll miss you, Buzz.
