ESTILL
Carrie Maxine Estill radiated love. Those that were around her could learn how to love everyone, especially the remnant, outcast, broken hearted people who usually felt uncomfortable in a church.
Just from One Touch of her hand, she could feel all your pain.
She wasn't afraid to pray or talk about God anywhere.
She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as all her adopted children and prayed for them several times daily ( some of us would get a message that we had been prayed for).
Fall, of course, was her favorite time of year and she would decorate a Fall tree and add lights and pumpkins with hay!
She loved sunsets and Gardens and could grow awesome African Violets.
She prayed about anything and everything. Most of all she loved God!!!
She recently told a young man that had just gotten saved that the prayers of his deceased Moma never dies. So we all know that the prayers in reserve for us all were already spoken by this prayer warrior. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Lorener Bell.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Tommy Joe Estill. Also, by her daughter, Sandra Lynn Estill Steelmon, and three sons, Ricky, Terry, and Dale Estill; grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives
Funeral services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 2pm. Visitation will start at 12 noon. Burial will be the next day, Friday at 1pm at the Millstone Mountain Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery
at 10680 County Road 25 in Lynn, Al in Winston County.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Estill one time as a home health nurse. I was sent to her home to care for her, but she ended up caring for me. I know she felt in her spirit something was bothering me as I was taking lab specimens we talked. She asked anot my family and I revealed to her I had an adoptive son who is 15 and was in a troubling time. She asked if she could pray with me and I, of course, said yes! She prayed the most powerful prayer I've ever heard, part of it in tongues, and she had me in tears. I will never forget that she followed the leading of the Holy Spirit to provide me with such love even though I was the one sent to care and comfort her. I wish I could have told her that my son was baptized last week, Praise God!

I am so sorry for your loss. I was not fortunate enough to meet your mom but everything I read about her I see in my friend Lynn.
I am keeping your family in prayer for comfort and healing.

I am numb. I can't feel anything. If I could feel right now, I don't think these walls could contain my overflowing grief. My light has gone out. So sad ... not for Maxine! I rejoice for her, probably dancing with Jesus about now. Sad for us. I will miss her with all my heart. I love you, Mama Max!

I know I was one of your favorites because I was named after you lol. I know how you prayed and loved me unconditional as broken as we all are.
I am going to be ok. As we all will be. I love you and praying for God to hold each and everyone you loved right. We all know how you loved us and prayed that we get ready to see you again. And I will be seeing you again. I love you my Favorite Aunt Maxine.

She was the greatest mom and my best friend! She was a big giver and always loved to crack jokes and be silly. She loved the Lord and it showed. At Christmas she gave mugs, etc to the trash guys, mailman and whoever.
Moma I am sitting by your front door but you aren't home. I miss u and will keep loving on others and reaching the Remnant people.
I will always remember you and me on the swings in Pascagoula MS and when you gave me my first diary.
No more pain, pic lines, blood pressure issues, sugar issues, roaring in your ear or vision challenges ..you are HEALED...love u
