Randy Edward Elder, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Tuesday, December 15, 2015. He worked his entire life as a maritime captain. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sim Horace Elder and Berdy Nell Ward Elder, and his brother, Michael Wayne Elder. His survivors include his wife, Cynthia Ann Seay Elder; two sisters, Janice Marie Elder Denson and Shelby Jean Elder Pate; his brother, Gary Dale Elder; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Dr. Fred Wolfe, will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
