Alsie Onn Williams McKenzie, a native of Neely, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Friday, June 15, 2018 at the age of 80. She was a member of First Baptist Tillman's Corner and a member of the Amazing Greys Choir. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Williams and Ina Lema Hillman Williams; two sisters, Belinda Carol Williams and Betty Jean Williams Clark; five brothers, Melburn Williams, George Hill Williams, Bennie Williams, Therrell Williams and Raybon Williams. Her survivors include her husband of 63 years, Charles Mack McKenzie; two sons, Charles Matthew (Sonja Lynn) McKenzie and Michael David (Nancy Ruth) McKenzie; one daughter, Sonya McKenzie Elmore; one sister, Elizabeth Williams (Wallace) McCluggage; five grandchildren, Ashley (Cliff) Patrick, Joshua McKenzie, Jordan Elmore, Jacob Elmore and Chase McKenzie; one great-granddaughter, Addyson Patrick, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services, officiated by Dr. Gregory Pouncey, will held Monday, June 18, 2018 at 12:00 Noon from First Baptist Tillman's Corner. The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
