Alvin G. "Nokie" Guess, Jr., a native and lifelong resident of Mobile County, AL, residing at Dauphin Island, died on Saturday. Mr. Guess was retired from Kimberly-Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Ruth Guess, Sr.; and his brother, Beau Guess. He is survived by his wife, Linda Guess; four children, Kim (Kenny) Hileman, Kirk Marcellino, Wade (Bobbie) Guess and Gina (Bryan) Franks; one sister, Lulu (George) Gartman; two brothers, John (Ann Marie) Guess and Gary (Irene) Guess; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many other relatives. Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, from 5 to 7 PM. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 12 noon at the Dauphin Island Catholic Cemetery.
