Alvin Hoffman

Alvin R. Hoffman, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, died on Thursday, February 14, 2019. He was a veteran of the US Navy during World War II. He was retired from Alcoa. He was preceded in death by his son, Alvin Dale Hoffman: father, Joe B. Hoffman: mother, Leithia Goree Hoffman: brother, Ramon Hoffman: sister, Vera Barnes and first wife, Elizabeth Burnett Hoffman. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Ann Hoffman: children, Donald Joseph Hoffman (Shelia), Debra Hoffman Breland (Charles), Robert W. Copeland, Darlene Givens (Mark), Debra A. Davidson and Donna M. Copeland: grandchildren, Stephanie Elizabeth Averette (Cory), Marion Elizabeth Dusin (Brandon); Peter Reaves Breland, Jessica Maples, Aaron Davidson, Haley Davidson, Dallas Givens and Rachel Givens: great grandchildren, Lily Anne Averette, Caleb Neidhardt, Olivia Dusin, Kara Velasquez, Andra Dusin, Cheyanne Dusin and Cameron Dusin and other relatives. Graveside services and interment will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM with visitation at 12:00 Noon from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Peter Breland, Aaron Davidson, Dallas Givens Brandon Dusin, Rusty Burnett and Jerry Burnett. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
