Beatrice Rose Shobe Brown of Mobile, AL passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019. She was born in Richmond VA, the daughter of the late Wade Hampton Shobe and Rosa Salmon Eades Shobe Grubbs. She was a realtor in Mobile, AL for many years and worked for Ladner and Co. and The Mitchell Company. She leaves behind her children, Dr. Donald E. Brown Jr. (Leah) and Katherine B. Arnold, of Mobile, AL, sisters, Jackie Canaday (B.B.) and Pamela Smith (Wendall) both of Summerville, SC, Grandchildren Dr. Donald E. Brown III , Dr. Jerry G. Arnold, Jr., Katie B. Stacey, Anna A. Sharpe, Justin R. Fauver, and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Donald E. Brown Sr., sister Gloria Anders, stepmother, Gladys Shobe, and grandson Jared R. Fauver. She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Mobile, AL. Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 12 to 2 pm. Graveside services will be at 2 pm with The Reverend Thomas Heard of St. Johns Episcopal Church will officiate in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
