Benjamin Beck

Benjamin Clyde Beck, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away
On Sunday, August 29, 2021, at the age of 80, after a long battle with cancer.

Clyde was born on August 15,1941 in Mobile, Alabama to Jesse and Katie Hogan Beck. Clyde is survived by his wife of 57 years Madeline, daughter Michelle Daoust (Scott), granddaughters Sara Katherine and Hannah, and his sister Catherine Prehoda.

Clyde is a Navy veteran. He loved his Alabama football, spending time with his family, and dancing on every occasion. He also enjoyed traveling and working outside in his garden.

He graduated from Jacksonville State University and worked for many years in banking and in construction.

A graveside service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Thursday, September 2 at 12 noon. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
