Bernard Hodge

Mr. Bernard Lee Hodge passed on September 30, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Camden, Arkansas and a resident of Silverhill, Alabama. Mr. Hodge loved the Lord and had a personal relationship with Him. He loved his family very much and was always willing to help those in need. Mr. Hodge grew up in Camden Arkansas where he graduated from Fairview High School. After graduating high school, he served his country in The United States Navy. He retired from Mobile Gas Service where he worked as a Computer Operator. He was a long-time member of Manor Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Tom Bell and Mildred Hodge. He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian, of 60 years, who took great care of him during illness of Dementia., one son Todd Hodge, one daughter Stacy Eubanks and son in law Charles Eubanks, Four Grandchildren, Chad Eubanks (Jai), Brandon Eubanks (Michelle), Travis Eubanks (Morgan) and Lydia Eubanks. Three great grandchildren, Chaisley Eubanks, Emma Eubanks, Emersyn Eubanks and a brother Tommy G Hodge (Debbie).

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm followed by a graveside service at Pine Crest Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
