Bernice Presley Vickers, passed away at her home on January 30, 2016 at the age of 82. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be missed by all that loved her. Bernice was employed for 20 years at Delchamp's, Inc. as an Executive Administrative Assistant in the Real Estate Division. A true southern lady, Bernice loved to cook, sing in the church choir and was very active at both Crawford and Government Street Baptist Churches. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Paul Vickers; her children, Michael Dale (Kathie) Roberts, Ron (Iris) Boone, Paul Vickers, II and Gloria (Richard) Worsham; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening, February 1, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mrs. Vickers' name be made to Cypress Shores Baptist Church, 4327 Higgins Road, Mobile, AL 36619.
