BETTIE JEAN JANES McLEOD, age 76, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018. Jean was born in Brewton, AL and was a resident of Chickasaw, AL. She was a graduate of Vigor High School and Faulkner University. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Stella Janes; her daughter, Sherry McLeod; brother, Gylon Janes and sister-in-law, Marvina Janes. Her survivors include her daughter, Madeline (Rance) Cleary; her son, Billy R. (Kelly) McLeod, Jr.; four granddaughters, one great-grandson; three sisters, a brother-in-law; one brother; many nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
