Betty Irene Pugh McLean, a native of Jackson, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Thursday, April 30, 2020 at the age of 83. Betty was a member of Zion Baptist Church for many years; worked as a dental assistant; enjoyed reading and spending quality time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Pugh and Syble McIntyre Pugh; her husband, Jeral E. McLean, Jr.; two sons, Michael and Jerry McLean; her sister, Jeanette Pugh Kontos and two brothers, Robert and Bobby Joe Pugh. Her survivors include one daughter, Susan McLean Jimerson; two sons, Joseph Marvin McLean and Robin Keith (Celeste) McLean; one sister, Emily Pugh Arellano; one brother, Chester (Marsha) Pugh; eight grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
