Betty Stuart

Betty Louise Stuart, age 89, of Mobile, departed this Earth for Heaven on January 10, 2023. She was born November 26, 1933, in Brewton, AL to the late Marion and Nellie Allen Hastings. Betty was a graduate of Neal High School, where she was Vice President of her class, the first Homecoming Queen, and a cheerleader. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Betty loved life and spending time with friends and family. She will be remembered as a devoted mother and caring friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Stuart, Sr.; and her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Melissa L. Stuart, Bobbie Stuart Wilson (Joe), and Charles R. Stuart, Jr. (Thelma) of Springfield, VA; grandchildren, Samantha, Rachel, and Rebecca Stuart; sister, Bessie Johnson of Niceville, FL; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00PM, until the funeral service begins at 2:00PM, Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL 36619. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. There will be a reception for those who attend at the Connie Hudson Senior Center, 3201 Hillcrest Road, Mobile, AL 36695.
