Beverly Ann Christian, 79, a resident of Mobile, Alabama went to be with Jesus on 14 August 2026 in Orlando, Florida.

Beverly was born 31 May 1947 in Brewton, Alabama to Henry Franklin Sowell, Sr., and Gertrude Florence Smith. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Thomas Gordon Christian, Sr.

She was a 1965 graduate of W.P. Davidson High School in Mobile, Alabama.

She was an avid reader and loved gardening. She especially loved growing flowers.

Beverly is survived by her daughter Christina Renee Dumas of Mobile, Alabama, son Thomas Gordon Christian, Jr. (Alisa) of Orlando, Florida. Grandchildren Krystal Blakeney (Austin), Jonas Christian and Kai Christian of Orlando, Fl., and great granddaughter Reece Miller of Mobile, Al. Beverly is also survived by brother Henry F. Sowell, Jr., (Lucy) of Fairhope, Al., sister Deborah K. Fant (Stan) of Fairhope, Al, and brother Kenneth L. Sowell of Mobile, Al.

Beverly was employed by SAAD's of Mobile, Al. in accounting and finance until her retirement in 2017.

Beverly was a devout Christian who received Jesus as her Lord and Savior in her early teens. She lived a life of service to the Lord, her family, and her Church. She loved helping others.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., 29 August 2026, followed by graveside service at Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, Al.

To honor her love of gardening, the family asks that you wear Spring/Summer colors.
