Billie Ann Cates, a native of Birmingham and a longtime resident of Mobile, died on Monday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Marion H. "Bud" Cates. She is survived by four children, Marion H. "Skip" (Terry) Cates, Jr., Catherine (Terry) Gaston, Richard R. (Sherry) Cates and Brian K. (Amy) Cates; eleven grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Union Baptist Church at 2 pm. Visitation will start at 12 noon. Burial will be in Pine Crest West on Snow Rd. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
