Billy Ray Howard Sr.

Billy Ray Howard, Sr., age 71, passed away in Pascagoula, MS on July 31, 2024. 

He was born in Lucedale, MS on March 16, 1953, to parents Wesley and Virginia Howard. Mr. Howard worked as a shipfitter for 51 years. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church and served as a Deacon and Choir Director for many years. 

Mr. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Mable Virginia Bates and his brother, Wesley Eugene Howard. 

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 52 years, Patsy Lee Howard; children, Billy (Leslie) Howard, Jr., Shannon (Scott) Rogers, Jeremy (Natasha) Howard, Jason (Candy) Howard; grandchildren, Dillon Howard, Micah Rogers, Jacob Howard, Trenton Rogers, Samuel Rogers, Ryleigh Howard, Hailey Rogers, Oliver Howard, and Brody Howard; other relatives and many friends. 

Services will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 noon funeral service. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Rev. David Shirley to officiate. 

Pallbearers: Billy Howard, Jr., Jeremy Howard, Jason Howard, Micah Rogers, Scott Rogers and Jacob Howard. 

Honorary Pallbearers: Samuel Rogers, Oliver Howard, Brody Howard, and Trenton Rogers.
