Bobbie Joyce Dotson

Bobbie Joyce Dotson, age 86, passed away in Mobile AL on February 28, 2026. She was born in Tallulah, LA on December 1, 1939. Mrs. Dotson was independent in the raising of her children and a hard worker. She was the first woman to be employed by Enron Corporation and worked as a plant manager there for many years. When she wasn't working, she loved gardening and tending to her plants and flowers.

Mrs. Dotson was preceded in death by her son, Ted Ruffin; husband, Jerry Dotson; fathers to her children, Ted. W. Ruffin and Bob Gordin; and her mother, Lucille Payton.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert (Donna) Ruffin, Tim Ruffin, Mark (Amy) Gordin and Deborah Ruffin; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special nephew, Michael Murphy; other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Beaver Creek Cemetery in Baker FL.
