Brenda Stringfellow

December 4, 1949 — July 13, 2022

Brenda Carol Stringfellow (Bosarge)

Brenda Carol Stringfellow (Bosarge) age 72 of Mobile, AL went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. This beautiful woman sought to live her life every day in order to fulfill the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was her passion and identity, both to love God with all of her heart and to love her neighbor as herself. She truly did both in such a way as to bring much honor and Glory to our God. As a mother, there was never a sacrifice too great for her two sons. She cared deeply for them both and did everything in her power (and His) to love them with her whole heart. As a wife, she cared very deeply for her husband and honored him greatly. This was evident whenever and wherever they were together. She loved family. Though much of her immediate family passed on very early in life, she used that not as an excuse to be bitter, but as an inspiration to love everyone passionately and make the most of every day. Her love for people was extraordinary, the evidence and fruit of this was clear to see in the days since her passing. She loved the Bayou and she and Lamar often rode down there as it was one of her favorite things to do. She was an incredibly gifted, yet humble, cook who enjoyed nothing better than feeding hungry people who enjoyed the company and fellowship in her little kitchen. She was loved and admired in the small group and in the larger church at Luke 4:18 Fellowship and spoke very often of them as well as Brother Fred and David Bullock. She was a counselor, a prayer warrior, an encourager, a lover, and an obedient follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. She did much good with her time here and she truly looked for the good in everyone she met. She was a truly incredible and inspiring child of the Living God to the end of her life here on earth. She was preceded in death by her father Walter Eugene Bosarge Jr., mother Gladys Vivian Phelps Bosarge, sister Orenita Lynnette Bosarge Cain, and nephew Thomas Leroy Cain IV. Those remaining are her husband Lamar Stringfellow, her niece Angela Wilkerson Hawkins, her son Jason Bosarge, her son Terrell Bosarge Jr. (Wendy), stepsons Travis Stringfellow, Phillip Stringfellow, and Ryan Stringfellow (Kristen) and eight grandchildren Jacob Bosarge (Sara), Zoe Bosarge, James Bosarge, Kynleigh, Easton, Luke, Halli, Sadie.
