Carol Crenshaw

Carol Ann Holland Crenshaw, a native and lifelong resident of Bayou La Batre, AL, passed peacefully in a local nursing home on Monday, October 14, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erastus “Ras” Sylvester Crenshaw Jr.; daughter, Sherry Hall; sons, Curtis Crenshaw and Gordon Crenshaw; her parents, Jordan & Rae Holland, and sister, Joyce Holland. She is survived by four daughters, Bobbi (Mike) Dickerson of Festus, MO, Ruth McKinley of Thomasville, AL, Diane Buckalew of Thomasville, AL, and Carol (Michael) Miller of Bayou La Batre, AL; two sons, Hamilton (Carolyn) Sutton of Tylertown, MS and Scott (Shauna) Crenshaw of Axis, AL; daughters-in-law, Jeanette Breland and Cindy Crenshaw; sisters, Myra Sutton of Birmingham, AL and Donna (Bobby) Stevens of Melrose, FL; brothers, Richard Holland of Livingston, AL and Jimmy (Diane) Holland of Mobile, AL; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great- grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, Saturday, October 26, 2019, with services immediately following at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Oddfellows Cemetery, Bayou La Batre, AL.
