Carole A. Maliniemi, a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL died on Monday. Mrs. Maliniemi was a volunteer at Providence Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, LT. Michael Emanuel Maliniemi, USCG Ret'd. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Cheri Livingston and her children, Caelan and Cyle; Scott (Cindy) Maliniemi and their children, Brittany, Brandon, Zachary and Jacob; Jennifer Maliniemi and her child, Seth; one great grandchild, Kylie; and one sister, Betsy Labruzzo and other relatives. Visitation will be on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 12 noon to the 2 pm graveside service in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
