Carolyn Madden Ezelle was born on August 13, 1940 in Lumberton, Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ena Madden and her siblings James Madden, Johnnie Rose Walker, Donnie Madden, Joyce Brigham, Coyce Brown, Janelle Collom, and Mildred Thompson.

Carolyn married Phillip Leland Ezelle on September 17, 1971 at 3:10 p.m. in Pascagoula, MS. They would have been married 55 years in September.

Carolyn has one daughter, Connie Bozeman. Carolyn has two grandchildren, Jessica Kristen Bishop and Jeremy Steven Jones. She has four great grandchildren, Katelyn Brianne Jones, Braxton Kenley Jones, Leo Conrad Bishop and Sophie Noelle Bishop.

Carolyn worked as a waitress at the Flaming Hearth, which was later changed to Gaslight Square. Carolyn was saved at Precept Ministries under Kay Arthur in 1984. Carolyn attended Woodbridge Baptist Church, Cottage Hill Baptist Church and now attends Luke 4:18. She has many, many friends who love her and will miss her.

Funeral services for Carolyn will be held at 12 PM on August 4th, 2026, at Luke 4:18 Fellowship. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 AM to 12 PM on August 4th, 2026, at Luke 4:18 Fellowship.
