Carolyn Kelly

Carolyn Ann Kelly, age 77 of Mobile died at 4:58 am on Tuesday December 14, 2021, at Springhill Memorial Hospital. She was born March 20, 1944, in Pascagoula, MS to Joseph and Irene McLendon. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 61 years, John Riley Kelly. She leaves behind her two daughters Darlene (Michael) Lyman, and Susan Kelly. She had four grandchildren Christopher (Melissa) Lyman, Chad (Lexi Delaneuville) Lyman, Kayla (Alonzo) Barahona, and Emily (Cedric Yelding Jr.) McCary. Carolyn was also blessed to have five great grandchildren Chase, Hunter, Caden, Niko, and Sienna. She was a long-time resident of Mobile, she loved to cook and travel to the mountains, but she loved to spend time with her family most of all. She adored all of her grandchildren and those great grands held a very special place in her heart.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
