Carrie Louise Phillips Mink, a native of Lamison, AL in Wilcox County, and longtime resident of Coden, AL, died Friday, December 4, 2015 at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Pettis Phillips and Daisy Pearl Morgan Cooper; her sister, Pearl Phillips Spencer and her brother, William Howard Phillips. Her survivors include her husband of 52 years, Elias Allen Mink, Jr.; two daughters, Theresa Mink (Marshall, III) Girby and Angela Michelle Mink; her brother, Harold ("Libby") Phillips; one granddaughter, Claire Louise Girby; other relatives and friends. Mrs. Mink gave birth to two children, but had many. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Monday, December 14, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Graveside services, officiated by Brother Dutch Neilson, will follow at 12:00 Noon in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.
