Carrie Jean (Isakson) Spisak, 44, a resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on August 4, 2025. Carrie was a beacon of light, whose love and caring spirit touched everyone she met.
A proud graduate of the University of South Alabama, Carrie earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with honors. She completed the Connect Mobile Leadership Development Program through Mobile United and was a member of the Order of LaShe's.
Carrie's creativity and generosity shined through her love of designing custom cookies. She poured her heart into every single cookie she made, creating personalized works of art for those she loved. Carrie's compassion extended to her volunteer work with the O'Rourke Elementary PTO, where she formed strong bonds with the teachers, staff, and students. She also found a second family in the relationships she built at Studio Fitness. The love and support from her 'gym family' were a constant source of strength and laughter. They truly extended her life.
Her incredible warmth and kindness meant she made friends easily and touched countless lives, including those of families and patients she met on her trips to MD Anderson. Above all, Carrie was most proud to be a mother to her two amazing daughters, Emma and Ada.
Carrie's love lives on in her devoted family. She is survived by her husband, Dana Spisak, and their daughters, Emma Spisak and Ada Spisak. She is also survived by her mother, Angie (Dukes) Breland; her step-mother, Jodi Isakson; and her step-father, Ronald Eickhoff (and his wife, Diane).
She will be deeply missed by her siblings: Rena Isakson Wright (Andy), Leah (Isakson) Baker (Cass), Joseph Isakson (Angie), Mackenzie Taylor (Eickhoff) Plaugher (Kyle), and Emilee Eickhoff. Carrie was a cherished aunt to her nieces and nephews: Lincoln Baker, McKenzie Crawford, Trey Isakson, Tyler Isakson, Luke Isakson, and Hayden Plaugher.
Carrie was preceded in death by her father, Kevin Isakson.
