Cecelia "Bubbles" Bellanger Bishop, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026. Born on December 12, 1935, in Port Arthur, Texas, Cecelia was the beloved daughter of the late Ruth Lenore Bellenger who predeceased her, along with her son, Alfred Mark Smith, and husband, Jack Clifton Bishop.

On October 28, 1963, Cecelia married the love of her life, Jack Clifton Bishop. Their marriage was a testament to the power of love and partnership, lasting over six decades. Together they created a beautiful family, including their children Michelle Dixon (Gavin) and Jack Vincent Bishop (Terri). Jack was the adored grandfather to Ryan, Leslie, Clifton (Dandy), Christopher, Jacquie (Michael), Michael, Alex (Mary Alice), Nikki (Thomas), Andrew (Taylor), Anna, and Jennifer. Her legacy extends to thirteen great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Cecelia's life will be celebrated at a 12:00 PM graveside service on Friday, September 18, 2026, in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 11:00 AM to visit and process into the cemetery together. Her husband Jack's urn will also be laid to rest that day.

The family strongly encourages donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her name in lieu of flowers.

Cecilia Bishop's life was defined by her devotion to her family. She loved with the heart of a lion-fiercely, wholeheartedly, and without reservation. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, and unwavering love that will be remembered and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
