Charles J. Ingram, age 91, resident of Semmes, AL, passed away on August 24th, 2026, in Semmes, AL. He was born March 30th, 1935, in Jefferson, AL. Charles was a retired state trooper, worked in the Department of Defense. He was also a member of the Masonic lodge and Shriner member. He was an avid woodworker and model builder.
Charles is preceded in death by; his beloved wife, Ruth Ingram; his parents, Robert and Edith Ingram; and his great-grandson, Aiden Tiffany.
He is survived by; his son, Alan Ingram; granddaughters, Jamie (Trey) Hayes, and Jannene (Stephen) Tiffany; his grandson, Charles Ingram; great-grandchildren, Haven, Jacob, Kaleb, Carson, Kinsley, and Hunter; his brothers, Dennis Ingram, Robert Ingram and Paul Ingram; his companion, Betty Lou Stephens; his best friend, Raymond McInnis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Charles' funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Monday, August 31st, 2026, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Jay Robertson pastor of Crawford Baptist officiating. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 2 P.M., on Monday, August 31st, 2026, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Stephen Tiffany, Trey Hayes, Charles A. Ingram, Jacob Wooster, Hunter Ingram, and Raymond McInnis.
Honorary Pallbearers: Kaleb Wooster, and Carson Tiffany.
