It is with great sadness that the loved ones of Deric Wilkins age 36 born June 25 1987 of Mobile, Al. announces the unexpected passing after being struck by a vehicle while riding his motorcycle on May 21, 2024

Deric had a passion for riding motorcycles. And had been known for his ability to sense when people people needed help or just a smile. He was always there to help.

Those who had a chance to meet him will say that he was a genuinely real friend, a good hearted person that was always able to find the bright side of every situation. He was excited to start his new life with his fiancé, and had many great plans for the future. He loved greatly and was greatly loved.

He was known for uplifting people's spirits and putting a smile on their face by making them laugh.

He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, riding his motorcycle, spending time with his dad Chuck and his beloved fiancé Brittany. He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

Survived by: Charles Edger Wilkins (Dad) Brittany Lynn Tillman (fiancé) Tony Schmidt (brother) Marshall L Wilkins (uncle) Stephana McLaughlin (aunt) Tim and Angela Harwell (aunt and uncle) Jailyn McLaughlin (cousin) and many more relatives and close friends. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
