Cheryl Diane Wilkins Jordan, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died December 1, 2016 at the age of 67 after a long and courageous fight with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Fleming Wilkins and Helen Estelle McDonald Milne; her step-father, Arthur Milne; her son, James C. Jordan, III; her sister, Helen "Lynn" Protivnak; and three brothers, Thomas "Spike", Robert and Sidney Wilkins. Her survivors include her soulmate of many years, Calvin Vickers; her daughter, Jennifer (Donnie Williams) Miles; her son, Stephen Andrew (Melissa) Jordan; two brothers, Jesse (Ann) Wilkins and John (LeTicia) Wilkins; a sister-in-law, Vallerie Downie; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; Steve and Wendy Vickers; nieces; nephews; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Reverend John G. Lynes, will be held Monday, December 5, 2016 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
