Christine Wade Moon, originally from Niagara Falls, New York, passed away peacefully on December 13th, 2025. Born December 23rd, 1948, Christine lived a life marked by kindness and compassion.
A proud alumna of The Ohio State University, Christine built a fulfilling career as a Human Resources Director, where her empathy and leadership inspired many. Her thoughtful and compassionate approach to people left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike.
Christine shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Bob Moon, who preceded her in death on November 10, 2024. Together, they built a family grounded in love, laughter, and shared adventure. Over the years, She was able to visit all 50 states and 19 foreign countries. Christine is survived by her cherished daughter, Lindsay Cullen, and Lindsay's spouse, Jewel Cullen, who brought immense joy to her later years. She is preceded in death by her parents Herschel and Flora Wade, her brother Mark Wade, and nephews Gregory Iodice and Nicholas Iodice. She is survived by her sisters Kathleen (Dave) Iodice and Mary (Doug) Hayes, as well as nieces Kerri (Rob) Augustino and Jillian Hayes, grand nieces Mia Augustino and Isabelle Augustino, and grand nephews Anthony Burke and Tre Augustino.
In retirement, Christine discovered new passions in traveling, painting, and yoga, pursuits that reflected her creativity and her continual search for balance and beauty in everyday life.
Those who knew Christine will remember her warmth, her wit, and her wisdom. Her presence brightened every room, and her legacy of love endures in the hearts of those she touched.
A celebration of Christine's life will be held at a later date in January. In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends to honor her memory by taking time to create something beautiful - in art, in words, or in kindness.
The family would like to extend a deep gratitude to Springhill Senior Residence and Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care they were able to give her during the end of her life. They were incredibly compassionate, kind, and skilled in everything they did.
