Clara James-Parnell

Clara Elizabeth Folis JamesParnell, a native of Memphis, TN and longtime resident of Semmes, AL, died Monday, September 15, 2014 at the age of 91. Mrs. Parnell was a bookkeeper at Mobile Check Exchange for many years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Eugene James, Sr. and Oza Lee Parnell her parents, John Arthur Folis and Mollie Lavinia Kane Folis her son, Leonard Folis James, Sr. and her sister, Jacqueline Jonnie Folis Ciulla. She is survived by her sons, Ernest Eugene Claudia James, Jr. of Semmes, AL and John Franklin Betty James of Mobile, AL seven grandchildren eleven greatgrandchildren five greatgreat grandchildren other relatives and friends. Funeral services will held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mmgfuneralhome.com.
