Clyde Jenkins

July 21, 1927 — December 20, 2020

Mr Jenkins was born on July 21, 1927 in Black Joe, Kentucky. He moved to Mobile, Alabama and was a 1945 graduate of Murphy High School. Mr. Jenkins served in the B Battery 711th AAA Gun Battalion during the Korean War. He retired from the City of Mobile Electrical Department as a supervisor after 34 years of service.

Mr Jenkins was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde D Jenkins, Sr and Cora Lee Jenkins; wife, Ira Lee Clark Jenkins.

He is survived by his son, Rev. Timothy M. Jenkins, Sr. (Teresa); his daughter, Gloria J. Reed (Bryan); four grandchildren, Timothy Jenkins, Jr. (Missy); Matthew Jenkins; B. Collin Reed, Jr., and Abigail L. Reed; sister, Patsy Williams (Milton); five great grandchildren, Seth, Annabelle, Noah, Eli, and Parker Jenkins; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday December 23, 2020 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 12:00pm from Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Masks are required if attending. You may offer your condolences at www.mobilefuneralservices.com
