Collette Catherine Pope Raley, a resident of Theodore, AL, died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Jones Pope and Bessie Mae Nowlin Pope; her husband George William Raley, Sr., a grandson, Tyler W. Raley; four brothers, Andrew David, William Hollis, Gilford Darlington and Newton Delano "Laney" Pope; four sisters, Ruth Pope, Lila Pope Grimes, Lyra Pope Wentworth, and Doris Pope Goodwin. Her survivors include two sons, George William (Nancy) Raley, Jr. and Clifford Hugh (Kristen) Raley; two brothers, Julius Loyd (Patricia) Pope and Emmett Jerry Pope; six grandchildren, Ashley Raley (Scott) Saito, Alana Chantel Raley, Brianna Michelle Raley, Ashlynn Taylor Raley, Aiden Parker Raley and Madison Grace Willie; three great-grandchildren, Callie Mei Saito, Zayne Squires and Body Wayne Stork; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
