David Rice, Sr.

David Brian Rice, Sr.- A native of Mobile and resident of Irvington died on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the age of 56. Mr. Rice was a veteran of the US Army. He was a Christian counselor and was involved with numerous charities. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Debbie Lynn Rice who he fondly referred to as Miss Debbie. He is survived by four children, Heather Lynn (Chris) Austin, Jessica Noel Rice, David B. (Kelly) Rice, Jr and John Wyatt Rice; five grandchildren, McKenzie, Owen, Dalton, Cole and Kierstyn; three sisters, Billie Jean Roberts, Kathy R. (Greg) Camilleri and Angela Faye Rice; two brothers, Eugene W. (Janice) Rice, Jr and Kenneth Rice. Visitation will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held from 1st Baptist Church of Tillman's Corner on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
