In Loving Memory of Deborah Dixon Palmer
March 5, 1956 - September 22, 2025
Deborah "Debbie" Dixon Palmer, 69, of Mobile, Alabama, formerly of Statesboro, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Terry A. Palmer; sons Tyler Palmer and Clint (Mel) Smith; sister Janice (Bob) Upchurch; and brother Craig (Sherry) Dixon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who dearly loved their "Aunt Debbie."
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy D. Dixon, and her brother, Greg Dixon. At the time of her passing, she was also survived by her beloved mother, Shirley Herndon Dixon, who sadly passed away on October 29, 2025.
Debbie was part of the Palmer Seafood House Restaurant family in Savannah and Augusta, Georgia, where she made many lasting friendships over the years. An avid horse lover, she was a proud member of the Mobile County Sheriff's Posse. She had a deep love for animals, gardening, and photography-but above all, she cherished her family.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 22, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Fowl River Community Center. 5401 Fowl River Rd, Theodore, Al. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and share memories of her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit.
Her laughter, love of life, and gentle heart will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
