Donald Richard Black, a native of Aliceville, AL and current resident of Theodore, AL, died Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the age of 59. Mr. Black was retired from the Mobile County Board of Health. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Miller Black. His survivors include his daughters, Angela Black (Jeremy) Lowe, Amee Black, Sarah Black and Amanda Black; his mother, Sara Jean Bolton Black; two sisters, Penny Black (George) Neil and Michelle Black (Jeremy) McDaniel; his brother, Vernon Mitchell (Becky) Black; three grandsons; two granddaughters; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Brother Mark Griffin, will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2015. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
