Donald "Gene" Ladnier
November 22, 1951 — February 15, 2020
Donald "Gene" Ladnier, age 68, of Irvington, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020, at his home.
Gene graduated from Alba High School in Bayou La Batre in 1970. He retired from Searcy Hospital after over 20 years of service. Gene loved his dogs and spending time outdoors.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Donna Ladnier and was preceded in death by his father, Donald J. Ladnier; mother, Martha Jane Ladnier; and brother, Robert "Bobby" Ladnier.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery in Bayou La Batre, Alabama.
