Dora Janet Draime Clarke

Dora Janet Draime Clarke(April 19, 1942 - May 25, 2026) passed away peacefully at 12:30 PM.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha Williams Draime; her husband, George T. Clarke; her sister, Emma Lee Draime Weldy; and her nephews, Wayne, Keith, and Leslie Weldy.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Draime Godwin Silvey; her beloved nephew, Michael Odell (Beth) Godwin; her niece, Lee Janet (Jim) Brown; and her nephew, Victor Clarke III. Among many friends and other relatives left to cherish her memory are her grand-nephews, David and Mark Godwin, Riley Brown, and Blake Weldy; her grand-nieces, Addie Brown and Angela Weldy (Bobby) Lambert; along with many other extended grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, and loved ones.

Janet retired after 40 dedicated years from Merchants National / Regions Bank, where she served as Vice President and Manager of the Spring Hill Branch. She was also a faithful and long-time member of Springhill Presbyterian Church.

The family extends their deepest thanks and appreciation to the members of her care team from HomeRN and Southern Care Hospice for the exceptional, loving comfort they provided her during her illness.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on June 1st, 2026, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Mobile, Alabama. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., on June 1st, 2026, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
