Doris Green

Doris Henderson Green, born May 28, 1925, passed away at home on May 22, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Green, her parents, Lonnie and Ona Henderson, and her sister, Virginia Henderson Gaines. "Mimi" is survived by her daughters Doris June Capon (Richard) and Judith Green McElroy. Her grandchildren Ashley Capon Strain (Brad), Jennifer Lynn McElroy (John), Mark Andrew Capon and Kevin Brian McElroy. Her great grandchildren Cole Richard Strain, Madeline Ann Richardson, and Abigail Kimberly Strain. Beloved nieces and nephew Joan Sasser (Wayne), Cheryl Chrisco (Michael) and Lawrence Gaines (Camille) and numerous other family and friends. Private graveside service will be at 10:00 am on May 24, 2024 at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
