Dwayne Edward Sixbury, 59 years old, a long time resident of Semmes, Alabama gained his angel wings on February 27, 2022. Dwayne was born January 29, 1963 in Watertown, New York.
Dwayne was employed by Refra Chem Linings for 26 years where he worked as the superintendent over manpower. Dwayne enjoyed his job and missed going to work every day during his long battle. He was most grateful for the continued support he received from his employer and co-workers.
Dwayne loved to hunt and fish and was never more comfortable than when he was in the woods or on the water. Dwayne was loved by so many people and anyone lucky enough to call him a friend was truly blessed. He will be forever missed and our lives are forever changed.
Dwayne leaves behind his loving wife of 25 years, Sharon Ann Sixbury, one son Tyler (Morgan), one daughter Demi Noel, one granddaughter Scarlett Marie, his mother Sharon Sullivan Sixbury, two sisters Kristine Sixbury and Yvonne (Anton) Singleton, his mother in law and father in law Pat and Don Roberts, two sisters in law Laurie (Dickie) Nichols and Sherrie (Shane) Williams, four nieces Erin Thornton, Emily Thornton, Savannah Nichols and Hannah Singleton, four nephews Dakota Nichols, Dillon Nichols, Austin Clay and Dalton Singleton, one very special great uncle Johnny Smith, two life long friends Dan Dowd and Roy Chapman Jr. along with a host of many loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles Edward Sixbury and his sister Julie Pardon.
Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Three Notch Road on Thursday March 3, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church on Snow Road Friday March 4, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.
