Earl Mothershead

Earl Douglas "Doug" Mothershead, age 62, entered his eternal home on August 15, 2021 in Mobile, AL.

Doug served his country in the United States Army. Doug was a crane operator and medically retired from American Bridge. Doug was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Rosa Mothershead, brothers Michael and Paul Mothershead.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lou Mothershead, daughter Sabrina Mothershead, step-daughter Pam Sheets, and grandchildren Joseph Blake Bennet and Brooke Sheets. Siblings: Cecelia (Phillip) Wetherington, Mitzy (David) Pickle, Katherine (Dory) Mothershead, Angela Wade, Carl (Cherie) Mothershead; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and his beloved pets Scout, Alvin, and Hank.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 20, 2021, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens followed by a celebration of life service beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
