Eddie Gerald Williams died Friday, January 15, 2016 at the age of 91. He was a US Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Cade Williams and Alberta Ennis Williams; his wife, Janette Nelson Williams; his brother, James Edward "Ed" Williams; and his sister, Mary Alice Williams Jordan. His survivors include his daughter, Susan Williams (David) Johnson; two grandchildren, Brian (Christy) Johnson and Bethany (Brad) Timothy; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. David M. Johnson, will be held Monday, January 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mmgfuneralhome.com.
