Edward Patton “Pat” Barnard, Sr., 79, passed away Tuesday, August, 27, 2019.He was born July 15, 1940 in Birmingham, AL, but lived most of his life in Mobile, AL. He served eight years in the Army National Guard from 1956-1964, and in the Army as a member of the 711th Signal Battalion from 1961-1962. Pat owned and operated Multi-Print for many years; enjoyed golfing, fishing, Alabama football, the beach and spending quality time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo Cagle Barnard and Clotilde Petitbon Barnard; his sister, Carolyn LaJeune and his brother, Maurice Barnard. His survivors include his wife of 57 years, Linda Norris Barnard; his children, Edward P. (Laurie) Barnard, Jr., Deborah (Tony) Jackson and Pamela (Randy) Cotton; his grandchildren, Edward P. (Ann) Barnard, III, Amber Barnard, Amanda (Matt) Sluder, Michael Shaw, Mary (Michael) Rogers, Chandler Cotton and Tyler Cotton; 10 great-grandchildren; his sister, Joyce Francis; brothers, Clifton (Glenna) Barnard, Robert (Margie) Barnard, Tom (Barbara) Barnard, Bruce (Lina) Barnard, Terry (Barbara) Barnard and Richard (Trish) Barnard; many nieces; nephews; other relatives; extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
