Elias Mink  Jr

Elias Allen Mink, Jr, 80, of Coden, Alabama passed away on June 19, 2024.

Elias was born on December 5, 1943, to Elias and Ida Mink in Whistler, Alabama.

Elias was a commercial fisherman since 1965 and loved country music, woodworking and boat building. He was a gun and knife enthusiast, but his true love was his family and his dogs.

Elias is preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Louise Phillips Mink; parents, Elias Allen Mink, Sr and Ida Zell Montgomery Mink; and sisters, Helen, Juanita, and Linda.

He is survived by his daughters, Angela Michell Mink of Coden, Theresa Mink Girby (Marshall) of Bay Minette; granddaughter, Claire Louise Girby of Bay Minette; brother-in-law, Rickie Bosarge, Sr; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, cousins and other relatives.

Elias is also survived by his 3 fur babies, Boots, Coco, and Rusty.

Elias' family will celebrate his life with a funeral service on Monday June 24, 2024 at 12:00 pm from the graveside at Mobile Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Monday June 24 beginning at 10:00 am.
