Eunice Pearl Johnson Folmar, born March 25, 1921, died October 17 2014, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Verlon Folmar of Mobile, AL, and her parents, Daniel Marion Johnson and Callie Leomey Marler Johnson of Coffee County, Alabama.
Eunice is survived by her four children, Jerome Folmar Linda of West Melbourne, FL, Tim Folmar Diane of Loganville, GA, Charlotte Reed Watson of Augusta, GA, and Mona Ewest Anthony of Jacksonville, FL. She has 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Monday of Montgomery, Al. Eunice worked to provide for her family. They moved from Andalusia to Mobile, Alabama in 1958. She worked at Brookley and later at Kessler AFB for over 25 years. She lived with or near her daughters after her husband, Verlon, died in 2000. Visitation and services will be conducted in the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6100 Three Notch Road, Tillmans Corner, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be Thursday October 23 , 5:00 7:00 PM and services will be Friday at 10:00 AM. Internment will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
